JUDY SMITH VANTREESE

President & Founder of Second Chance Vision Ministry

Judy had a vision over 25 years ago to have a Ministry that would bring hope, healing, and a second chance after women have suffered through abuse and trauma. A survivor herself, she understands the pain and trauma of abuse.

With one in three people in the U.S. having experienced some form of abuse, it's a deeply painful reality that touches far too many lives.

Her passion is to bring hope and healing through Jesus Christ. Judy, through faith, started the Ministry in 2019.

We serve women individually to get the help they need to overcome their trauma.

Judy has served at The Nashville Rescue Mission, Hope Clinic, and many other missions and ministries to reach the hurting. She has worked on and advocated for legislation to bring more awareness and stricter laws concerning abuse. She is also passionate about making sure abusers receive counseling and support, recognizing that many of them were once victims of abuse themselves.

Judy has connected with a wide range of ministries and recovery programs, building partnerships to ensure the women we serve have access to options and opportunities for the type of healing that fits their unique journeys.

Judy is happily remarried and a proud mother of two sons and grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren.

She lives in the Franklin, TN area with her husband Brett, where she enjoys spending time with her family & community.
